This small handmade ceramic mixing bowl is both beautiful and practical. Great for mixing and pouring batter or for whipping up eggs for a delicious omelet. It can also be used as a stylish gravy dish.

I made this bowl on my pottery wheel with a beige speckled clay. I then coated the surface with a variegated blue glaze.
The bowl has a small, elegant handle on one side. I tweaked the other side to make a handy pouring lip. I was inspired to do this after seeing a baby bird with its beak open - waiting for mom to feed it!
