Making a Dish Process

Potter's Wheel:The bowl/cup/plate is thrown by hand on the wheel. The bases are trimmed making a nice rim on the foot for more stability. The Bisque Fire: Once they are bone dry they are fired in the kiln to 950℃, which dries and strengthens them sufficiently for glazing. My favorite Earl Grey Tea Cup!

I made this cup as a special order for a set of 12. The customer requested a large cappuccino cup. I liked it so much, that I made an extra one for myself. I use it for drinking my favorite Earl Grey tea which I enjoy drinking all day, especially on cold days. It fits beautifully on one of my custom designed plates – with plenty of room for a few delicious cookies. https://hezhjbg36uo83pwn-1780482163.shopifypreview.com/collections/mugs-cups/products/white-cappuccino-cup-and-saucer
